Demonstrated experience within the last three (3) years of growing revenue within a healthcare environment.

Financial and Operational Management

Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements, and CMS/FI audit requirements. Prepare financial statements. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities. Corporate Finance

Financial Analysis

(a) Manage parent company cash flow forecasting model

(b) Manage model that tracks debt repricing life and remaining asset life

(c) Prepare dashboard to highlight/recommend interest rates used for pricing leases

(d) Work with Treasurer to construct Finance Committee (Board of Directors) presentations

International Finance

(a) Forecast cash flows for balance of year in conjunction with local CFO

(b) Recommend financing alternatives, negotiate debt agreements, and execute financings

(c) Manage foreign entity capital structure (debt vs. equity)

(d) Ensure that proper borrowing and cash management controls are in place locally

(e) Monitor foreign exchange exposure; recommend hedging strategies where appropriate

Requirements Include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field is required for this position.

• A minimum of 5 (five) years of corporate treasury or transactional banking experience with well regarded companies.

• MBA in Finance from a recognized school is preferred

• International Treasury experience helpful.

• Well developed understanding of capital markets (e.g. unsecured debt, swaps, foreign exchange, leasing)

• Strong analytical and technical finance skills.

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.

We have a client in the Miami area with a direct-hire position for a Chief Financial Officer. The CFO is responsible for administering the general accounting, patient business services, including third party reimbursement, financial and statistical reporting functions of the hospital in accordance with established policies and accounting procedures.

This position works collaboratively with the CEO and governing Board in the development of long and short range hospital operations plans and capital budgets as supported by the hospital’s long and short range objectives.

The CFO monitors the hospital’s fiscal performance on realizing its established plans and objectives and identifies and reports undesirable trends with remedial action recommendations to the governing Board for final review and approval.
